Pero yeah, I do admit one thing in that having Zamora for MARKET1 is really stressful.........pero hey, at least I passed (1.5) so wohoo. Surpassed Zamora's challenge.
In fairness though, having her as MARKET1 teacher is an experience in itself (especially if you are a Marketing Major).
In the end, it's up to you (there are pros and cons for studying under the Marketing God)

Just do everything she tells you to do and pass your papers ON TIME. She gives low grades, but you'll surely learn a lot. Got a hard earned 1.5, which was the highest for our class. Make sure you recite, too! It's better that she knows you. I don't guarantee her as the prof who'd make you part of the Dean's Lister, and she's not a sure pass prof as well.
PLUS DONT WEAR BLUE. She hates it. :)
*random fact
If you are catholic and goes to church every sunday. Try going to the 10am mass in Forbes park. She usually sings there solo/duet with her guitar!:)

TEAM work all the time. It's okay with her if you guys help each other with recitation.
Stock up on your vocabulary.
Just tune her out when she gets mayabang, which is most of the time.

You'll learn a lot from her class. You'll get to think critically on the spot because most of her questions you would think are difficult yet are common sense. Though students are intimidated by her yet her class is really fun :)

She is the God of Marketing, For those who failed, it is because you all deserved it. You can not take this course lightly and expect to pass. She understands students and all you have to do is be active and participate. If you don't, then don't expect anything but to fail. HER MIDTERMS are OPEN BOOK, OPEN NOTES, OPEN CLASSMATES, OPEN EVERYTHING and she LEAVES the room. Her FINALS is TAKE HOME! and if you still fail, YOU have the Problem not her.
If you are Marketing, take her, If your not marketing you might be influenced to shift to marketing.
She's my professor right now. Haha. The comments are hilarious but true. I've only had 3 sessions with her and I already think she's awesome. :> I hope I get a decent grade. LOL.

Don't get intimidated. She's a typical prof pero realistic lahat ng banat niya. Super fun din, of course!
And she's not taking anything too personally. Especially di naman niya kilala class niya by names.she gives nicknames tho. :))
If ever I'll fail, it's okay. Because I learned a lot from her midterms palang :D
Grades lang problema sa kanya kase talagang mababa. Pero so far awesome talaga. Kulang ang COB life niyo pag di niyo sya tinake. Yun lang un ;)

everyone in our class passed from her! got a 2.0. she gives chances at the end of the term through a recitation. kayo ang may problema kung babagsak kayo.
legendary. great teacher and fun class but mababa nga magbigay unless you really get her lesson + you recite. kung di ka MKT/ADV o grades lang habol mo wag na IMO
KEEP RECITING. Make sure she knows you by name/nickname. Don't let the class get boring or susumpong yung topak niya. She appreciates effort and teamwork. Find smart groupmates for the midterm and final paper. Most importantly, DON'T WEAR BLUE.
she's my mentor in thesis now. ive went through her classes before, so i know what she's like. but i dont know what she's like in mentoring. did anyone here experience having her as a mentor?

And who says na mababa siya magbigay? WTF! Just do your best in all the requirements plus recite (kahit di lagi basta mag recite) and you'll get a high grade. Only 2 failed in our class, sila yung mga di na pumasok. Most of us got 2.5 - 3.0. MUST TAKE!
failed her class and learned a lesson, always pass your papers ON TIME, kahit 2 minutes late hindi nya tatanggapin, great prof though, DONT WEAR BLUE :)
Seriously? I got a 3.0 from Ms. Z, and she's very considerate. If you show effort, if you recite, and if you actually THINK, you will definitely pass, might even get a 2. Mind-opener, and she's dubbed the "goddess" of marketing for a reason. My major isn't even MKT. If you're taking up MKT, I highly recommend her. What kind of a student are you if you're afraid of a challenge, most especially in your own field of business?
And don't be bitter. It just shows how close minded you are about a lot of things. You only take what you give.

guys, im taking ms.zamora this term. i got a 40 sa recitation, 79 sa midterms and 85 sa midterm paper. do you think i have a chance to get at least a 2.0? i really need to get a 2.0. huhuhuhu

I've heard na mas lenient daw si Zamora when she handles MARKPUB (Public Relations) and MARKPRU (Product Management) compared to when she handles MARKET1.
Not exactly sure why.

Oh and para sa mga Applied Corporate Management students out there.
More than 95% of the time, si Miss Zamora lang ang nagtuturo ng MARKET3........and she expects all APC/ACM students to have at least taken your second OJT before taking up her MARKET3 class. xD

Cool kung cool, pero mediocrity will get you nowhere. If you're a Marketing or Advertising major get some balls and take her. When you recite it has to come from your own ideas (not upperclassmen's notes) She'll teach you more than just marketing, but essentially the most important lesson is how to get rich. Oh yeah to those who failed kasalanan niyo na yun, bawal talaga ang "bulok" na midterm at final paper sakanya. Just give your best, your true best guys and you'll get the grade that you want.
