mahirap quiz, mahirap magturo, mababa magbigay ng grade at di nagaadjust. -__-
His quizzes are not bad.
He is a good teacher. You just have to listen.
And true, he doesn't adjust.
You can learn from him. Just lend him your ear
Do your workbook exercises ahead of time and you'll learn a lot. Although, his quizzes are moderate to difficult. He lectures fast and skips on some small details that matter which makes most of his students confused.
Great professor! I learned a lot from him. He was my prof in Actbas1 and Actbas2. He challenges the students with his exams. SO you have to study and listen during lectures. Bawal ang TamaD sa kanya! He made my Actpaco and actmana easily to handle becoz of his trainings to his students!...We owe you SIR!
If you want to learn accounting, get Mr. Ong! You will learn a lot most especially those things not written in our textbook. Kaya lang dapat masipag ka sa klase nya and always jot down notes of his lectures. Questions in the quizzes are most of the time taken from his examples and workbook exercises. He gave me 3.5!:))))
He says his quizzes are easier than the final exam... Good teacher no doubt but challenges you on purpose

Mabait yan. Wag kayo maniwala na scary. :) And he knows what he's talking about.
I got a 3.0 from him and seryoso madadalian sa finals if you take him.
He is super duper nice but it's better not to take him because
1. He gives hard quizzes
2. It's hard to understand what he is teaching although marunong naman siya magturo BUT
3. His class is boring
and lastly
4. He doesn't adjust. Even if you only need 2 points to pass.
His exams are easy as long as you listen to him, jot down notes, answer the exercises on the workbook, and practice practice practice. You'll even thank him after taking your final exam, because you'll find it way way easier than his exams. I got a 3.5 from him! :>

His quizzes are somewhat hard but it will all be worth it. You'll find it easy na lang sa finals. Just practice, practice, and practice! Gives bonus points from time to time too :D
Pros: Finals seems easier
Cons: FINAL EXAM IS ONLY 24% OF THE FINAL GRADE!!!

Bihira magbigay ng plus points pero magaling magturo. Kung nakinig ka sa kanya ng mabuti at nagaral, papasa ka. :D
4 quizzes binibigay niya every half of the term and 3 lang na co-count for each so mabilis makabawi kung mahina ka sa isang specific topic
Great professor, definitely recommend him for people who want someone who's thorough with the discussion and doesn't leave out any details. He is also able to simplify the lesson through his straightforward and simple yet effective approach of teaching. I definitely owe my appreciation of accounting to professor J. Ong!
sir ong... i think he is a very unprofessional and irresponsible prof to start with, always late, like about 30- 50 mins, sometimes even an hour, and he won't allow you to leave class...
in terms of quizzes naman, he gives reasonable quizzes, actually most of them are easy eh, and he would make it a point to pass the whole class, so all in all okay naman si sir ong, actually natakot nga ako sa mga review sa kanya kasi i can't afford to fail any subjects na or else buh-bye DLSU and hello CSB ako, but sir ong was very considerate, i failed half of the quizes including midterms pero i still passed, mabait syang prof, kung may prob ka sa grades mo, approach mo lang sya, gagawa sya ng paraan para makabawi ka, and it's true hindi na sya nag aadjust kasi sobrang malaki na na adjustment ang ibinibigay nya, sa class naman lahat pumasa walang bumagsak...
Thank God I got him this term! I am learning so many things from him from day one!

Great prof! Very patient in discussing lectures and answering questions. I recommend him for BSA and non-BSA students.
