Sir Raymund is the best. I had him for both my COMP1BU and COMP2BU classes and all of us passed. Super bait niya and dami bonus points.

Awesome teacher for MANASCI. His lessons are quick and easy to understand :) Quizzes are always multiple choice, no solution required

very good teacher, gives a lot of bonus points, teaches with the aura of "fun" and makes sure you understand the lesson, regarding quizzes, you have to put your mind into it but its not hard because he is your teacher.
He doesn't teach at all. He makes us watch youtube videos to learn lessons that we have never encountered before. He just makes us answer the book without even teaching it properly.
BUSANA seemed to be a self study lesson. We just have to answer the book and the lesson would be clear enough which is really boring. I appreciate Sir Ganotice's way of teaching wherein he encourages us to do boardworks/seatworks/homeworks to get extra points. Sometimes there are other random bonus pts at the end of the term. Math teachers should be like him because he's approachable and students are comfortable to ask him whenever there are difficulties regarding the subject.
That's not necessarily true. Why do you think Sir even puts effort into getting a lapel mic and writing on the board if he doesn't teach? Sure, he makes us answer the book, but that's just really how his subject, calculus, is. You won't understand the topic without practice, yeah I learned that the hard way. He knows that his subject can be tricky, and to make our lives a whole lot more easier, he even sends us his summarized powerpoints and even relates the concepts of calculus in real business applications, which I think is pretty awesome because I got to at least appreciate how marginal analysis and stuff are applied in real life without all the calculus voodoo. If you don't appreciate that about him, then I don't know what you're asking for.
Get Sir Raymond, definitely. PLUS, he's also a lot of fun. :)
I don't really agree to this. He will not make the effort to search for those youtube videos if he doesn't teach. The videos are just a supplemental to the lecture he does in class because the 1.5 hour-discussion is not enough for a student to understand the lesson.
Also, he uploads the lecture to be used for the next meeting in the yahoogroup so if you don't look at it, the lesson will really be something you never encountered. If you just scan the ppt, then you will get a gist of the lesson.
The book exercises which he makes us answer are very helpful to assess what we've learned. If you don't understand something, Sir is very consistent that you should ask him. He answers them the earliest time possible.
He gives a lot of exercises so that you could really understand the lesson. Calculus requires you to practice, so if you don't do it, the subject will be really difficult.
Sir Raymond will give you all the resources you need, so all you need to do is download them and study. He really makes the subject easy.
Sir Ganotice is not a sure pass prof. He fails students who really don't study and whose grades are really far from the passing score. However, he gives A LOT of incentives and gives you +5% as long as perfect attendance ka. Also, -1.5 kapag absent ka. Gives multiple choice
He gives a lot of bonus points! Many of us got scores beyond 100. Of course, math is somehow challenging but he really does his best to make it easier for the students. He also cares about what the students think about his class. His quizzes are all multiple choice. I recommend this prof. :)
For one, I was his student in LBYBUS2 and MANASCI. What he taught me gave a competitive advantage to me compared to my course and batch mates. Now,Im working in a big multinational company because of the learning I gained from him.YOU'LL LEARN A LOT FROM HIM. I may not have the highest GPA and best credentials among my course mates but because of the strong educational background brought to us by a professor like him shapes us to become well rounded individuals. He also imparted to me a very important lesson which is "communication is key." He will harness and shape your communication skills as well as teach you valuable lessons that you can apply as a student and as a person.

Sir Ganotice is one cool prof who really tries to make his lectures as fun as possible. BUSCALC is a difficult subject so don't just rely on his powerpoint presentations and lectures. I advise you to study and practice the exercises given in the required book. Sir Ganotice really encourages his students to strive hard by giving bonus points generously to his students.
Raymond Ganotice is one hell of an awesome teacher (and one of my favorite professors ng DSI Department).

Got him for CPROBS2 (OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT). Sobrang kailangan mo ng effort if you want to get a high grade. The good thing is that inaacknowledge niya lahat ng effort na binibigay ng students niya! :) He will really share his expertise in the corporate world and may bonus pang CSR!!! SUPER WORTH IT,FUNNY PA! ONE OF THE BEST PROFS!!!!!!!! :)
